“A Tale of love and loss and life and death set against a colourful fantasy background”
“Walking on Sunshine: A Collection of Memories” is a piece from rising independent UK director Kyle Brearey.
The piece follows the life of a young happy couple through a series of flashbacks as a young woman reflects on her life while she hangs precariously from the side of a bridge.
Stunning HD shot with the Cannon 7D and heavily edited visuals give a surreal but calming feel to the piece.
Walking on Sunshine is a short visual driven film, void of dialogue, instead the feelings and emotions of the film are conveyed through the sound design, music and the beautiful locations mixed with additional fantasy based backdrops.
UPDATE: (December 2012)
“Walking on Sunshine: A Collection of Memories” has now been retired from the UK short film Circuit. With its official “retirement” it can now be viewed online.
Lastly, I would like to thanks all those who helped in the production of this short as wall as the amazing talent from Victoria Delaney and Cameron Prudames. Each one of you was a genuine Pleasure to work with and Walking on sunshine could not have happened without you!
